Who are they?

BarkyBakey was a brand new e-commerce brand at the time we started working together! Paul who runs this brand is an expert vet, and wanted to bring some bake at home treats to the market. He spotted that most dog treats aren't nutritious, so wanted to do something to change it!

The Challenge.

Paul had a website built in Shopify, all ready to go. He had a good social media presence, and had been directing people to sign up to emails to hear about the launch. He had signed up for Klaviyo, but didn’t know where to start with automations and his email marketing experience was limited. As a new business, keeping costs down was vital, so he planned to do his email marketing himself.

The Result.

I created a pre-launch campaign for him which was sent to his subscribers, as well as some automated emails like an abandoned cart and a sign up offer. The promos that we had in these campaigns were set up in a way where we could AB test the type of discount the customer was getting.

As I knew a DIY marketing strategy was needed for Paul, I also created a “build your own” email template, with pre-branded saved blocks in there, so he could just drag & drop professional looking elements into his email campaigns.
